There are a few train stations within Innsbruck, but the main train station in Innsbruck is the Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof which is located at the Sudtiroler-Platz (in the southern- Tyrolean square), to the east of the city center.
The Innsbruck train system is fantastic and it connects all major cities that are within its neighborhood. The train station has direct and regular operations from Vienna, Venice, Bozen Munich, Graz, and Zurich among other destinations. What is more, there are other additional stations that the regional and suburban train connections. The Innsbruck’s train system being under the Austrian train system is operated by Osterreichische Bundesbahnen.
